Scala Coeli wine (which in Latin means "stairway to heaven"), owes its name to the Santa Maria Scala Coeli Monastery, commonly known as the Carthusian Monastery, where the Carthusian monks remain silent and prayerful.
In 2015 Scala Coeli resulted from the vinification of the Touriga Nacional grape variety harvested on 15 September.
Total 30 days incubation. Aged 14 months in new French oak barrels.
