Around 80% of the grapes are from vines with 25 years of age, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Sousão, and the rest from old vines with more than 70 years of age. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and a portion in lagares, large granite tanks.
70% of the wine aged for 16 months in stainless steel tanks, and the remaining in 225 litres used French oak barrels (3rd and 4th year) until final blending.
