The Pato family has been producing wine at Quinta do Ribeirinho since the XVIII century. At the moment, the family owns 65 hectares of vineyards. They use exclusively Portuguese grape varieties which include Baga and Touriga Nacional (red grape varieties), and Maria Gomes, Bical, Cerceal, Sercialinho and Arinto (white grape varieties).
This wine has 100% Bical grape variety born in the hillside of Óis do Bairro facing Serra do Buçaco, in chalky-clay soils. Fermented and matured in new Allier oak casks during 8 months. To be served with roasted fish in the oven, cod-fish, shellfish, sushi and also soft sheep cheese.
